First off I’d like to give a big thanks to Spazzerbot Cosplay for her wonderful work as the Journey cosplayer in this video. Not only was her outfit incredible but she gladly marched off into the snow with me to film “on location”. Like last year’s Ico shoot, filming outside allowed for some great backgrounds that evoked the game world. In this case…the snowy mountain ending of Journey.
Of course thanks to all the other cosplayers that came together for this. Entire Chrono Trigger cast amiright?!
This one took awhile to edit. Mostly because I thought I wouldn’t have enough footage to fill the whole song. But then I ended up finding enough…for two songs. Thus let the slow paced DRAMA and incredible dancing begin.
Well, after struggling through snow storms, jet lag, colored contacts and rotten pizzas, we’re back from the other side of the world. We’ll save most of the stories for our upcoming Katsucon review video but just know that flying to cons from half way around the world definitely has its draw backs. Still, it wasn’t without some fun and here’s some videos to prove it. Steadicam love:
Rescue the Princess! loved Katsucon so much that they’ve decided to collectively blow all their money and fly down from Japan to return this February! So far b-rock and Lost Link are hard at work constructing outfits and Seagz, Xinity and Phrank are being lazy.
Lost Link is also eager to continue playing with his new toy and you can check out some of the talented people he may be filming with below! Rumor has it that our GOOD PAL Ackson may be out of the picture this year shoving MLZ to the forefront as RtP’s new ETERNAL videography rival.
So keep your fingers crossed for good weather and bring on the Gaylord!
On February 15th the gang is heading to National Harbor, MD (if they survive the NINE HOUR drive) for Katsucon 2013. No panels this time, just cosplay parties every day! In fact, Lost Link will be using his spiffy new camera to make several cosplay music videos to promote RtP! as well as cosplay as an art form.
We’re pretty excited to be staying at the Gaylord Hotel and Resort because it’s our first time staying in the actual building where the convention is being held (convenient!) and because it looks beautiful. No really, check it out.
